This policy (together with our terms of use and any other documents referred to in it) sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. We have a full Subject Access Request Procedure is available on request. Subject Access Requests need to be made in writing and will require verification that you are the person whose data we hold. In the first instance, please contact us via the hello@theyogaroot.org email address.
Your right to amend and/or delete your personal data
You have the right to request the correction or deletion of your stored personal data. To do so, send your request to: hello@theyogaroot.org. We will then investigate your request and will comply to the required extent. If for any reason, we cannot comply with your request, we will contact you. We have various legal obligations where we will require access to some of your information even if you request that we delete it.
Your right to object to the processing of your personal data and to unsubscribe
You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data when processing is based on a legitimate interest, e.g. for marketing purposes. We will inform you in this privacy policy if we intend to use your data for such purposes or if we intend to disclose your information to any third party for such purposes. Emails sent to you by The Yoga Root containing newsletter or marketing content include the option to unsubscribe by following the instructions set out in the email. If you do not wish to receive emails from us, you can simply click on the unsubscribe link and we will stop sending you emails.
Emails relating to transactions are not considered marketing and cannot be suppressed as the content confirms the legal contract of sale.
Conditions and limitations on your rights
There may be conditions to or limitations on your aforementioned rights imposed on us by other legislation including adhering to relevant tax laws in every jurisdiction in Ireland where we trade.
